Top 5 Dining and Restaurants Apps in Ghana: Q1 2024 Performance

In the first quarter of 2024, the top five dining and restaurant applications in Ghana displayed diverse trends in their weekly downloads, active users, and revenue. The data from Sensor Tower provides an in-depth look at how these apps fared.

Zomato: Food Delivery & Dining saw fluctuating weekly downloads, starting strong with around 34.5K in the first week of January, but eventually declining to 797 by the end of March. Despite the drop in downloads, weekly active users remained relatively stable, peaking at approximately 471.8K in early March before settling at 425.4K.

Burger King Costa Rica experienced a notable spike in weekly downloads mid-January, reaching 6.3K and peaking at 9.9K by the end of the month. However, downloads fell to 325 by the last week of March. The app's weekly active users mirrored this trend, peaking at 23.5K in late January but declining to 12.9K by the end of the quarter.

KFC UAE - Order Food Online also showed an interesting pattern. Weekly downloads hit a high of 8.6K in late January but dropped significantly to 701 by the last week of March. Active users followed a similar trajectory, peaking at 16.7K in late January and declining to 9.1K by the end of the quarter.

McDonald's Hong Kong had a gradual increase in weekly downloads from 976 in early January to 6.5K by the end of the month, but downloads decreased to 332 by the end of March. Weekly active users saw a steady rise, peaking at around 15.5K in late January before stabilizing at 10.4K towards the quarter's end.

Dodo Pizza. Pizza Delivery saw its weekly downloads peak at 4.2K in late January before falling to 138 by the end of March. Active users peaked at 9.2K at the end of January, with a gradual decline to 4.4K by the end of the quarter.
